Promoting Female Excellence in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry II
FemEx-Oslo pays tribute to recent important developments in theoretical and computational chemistry by inviting chemists and physicists to attend lectures given mostly by female speakers and to present their own work in form of oral communications or posters. Of the 40 lectures to be presented at FemEx-Oslo, 30 are by invitation, while 10 are open for competition among the registrants (with no gender preference).

Thanks!
To all participants: Please accept our grateful thanks for coming from so many places for a week-end of science and good exchange.
Please find the presentation from Paul Waltens after-dinner talk.
Registration with associated subsidized package at the hotel is now closed.
Full cost at the hotel now applies.
In June 2010, a conference on "Quantum Chemistry beyond the Arctic Circle: Promoting Female Excellence in Theoretical and Computational Chemistry" was organized at Sommarøy in Tromsø (Norway). The conference was very successful with participants from numerous countries and now a follow-up meeting will be held in Oslo with the continuing support of the Research Council of Norway through the Center for Theoretical and Computational Chemistry (CTCC).
In its second edition, the invited speakers are mostly female scientists but all male and female participants are encouraged to contribute by presenting their own work. Ten oral presentations will be selected among those registered with abstract for oral presentation by May 5. All abstracts (1 page, A4) of invited speakers are due May 5.
How to submit abstracts.
Registration including the payment of 500 NOK and lodging reservation should be completed by April 10 in order to benefit from the the subsidized package price. The maximum number of participants is limited to 110.
