2nd Nordic Meeting on Organometallic Chemistry

Topics: Organometallic chemistry, coordination chemistry, homogeneous catalysis.

Aim: To offer a great opportunity for Nordic researchers to come together, present their results and create valuable networks.

The lectures are open to everyone. Meals are reserved for registrated participants.

Participation Fee

This is a non-profit meeting. A fee of 1050 kroner (NOK; ca. 125 €) includes two lunches + dinner + coffee and snacks. A receipt for your reimbursement will be given.

Registration and abstract submission

by March 12 by e-mail to: mats.tilset@kjemi.uio.no


One page maximum in pdf format. Abstracts received will be combined into one PDF file and distributed to the participants upon arrival and registration.


There will be ca. 20 oral presentations (tentatively 20 min. each, including discussions) and a poster session.


Find your favorite hotel and do the booking online, for example through hotels.com. Any hotel in the city center is OK as public transportation is excellent.
The hotel nearest campus (20 min. walk) is Thon Hotel Gyldenløve.

How to reach the Department of Chemistry

From Oslo Airport
the fastest and simplest way is by airport train (19 min ride every 10 min) to the Central Station. The charge is 170 NOK. Then continue “from city centre”, see below.

From City Centre
take Metro (T-bane) number 3, 4, or 6 westbound (stop: Blindern). Each line has departures every 15 min during daytime.
