Hylleraas Exhibition at the CTCC

The Centre for Computational and Theoretical Chemistry (CTCC) has prepared a small exhibition about Hylleraas and his contributions to physics and chemistry

The exhibition was opened Wednesday, April 15 at. 3:00 p.m. in CTCCs premises at the Department of Chemistry.

Location: West wing of the Chemistry building, close to room V222.

Several members of the Hylleraas-family turned up to join the opening of the exhibition. Among them the daugther of Hylleraas, Inger Hylleraas Bø, who has has contributed with photos, books, and the desktop computer presented at the exhibition.

Present were also officials from the Department of Chemistry and The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science.

The event started with a brief talk about Hylleraas, his life and contributions by Trygve Helgaker.

The exhibition is designed and prepared by Chloé Turlotte,  Ellen Christina Sjøwall and Trygve Helgaker with help from Jan Ingar Johnsen.
